Our new house!

And now, the best part, pictures of our new place!  We are renting a 3 bedroom townhouse in a really nice area with good schools.  Oh, and we can walk to my parents house and are a five minute drive to Richard's parents.  We are definitely spoiled after years of living 8 hours away.  We have an attached garage, a finished basement, hardwood floors, fireplace, a deck, etc.  The outdoor space isn't as great as Connecticut, but honestly that was going to be hard to top.  It's amazing and we feel very blessed.  It is much nicer than any place we've previously lived.

Our front steps

I love the brick!

View of the front door

Before we switched the china cabinet and shelf

Insert crappy quality picture of after we switched the china cabinet and shelf.  Much better!

Did I mention I love our kitchen?  Insane! It actually was a little weird having so much space at first.  Somehow we got used to it :)

Hey who's that cutie who loves the camera?

PS that's the door to our pantry! yes!

Back deck off the kitchen.  Gotta have the bird feeder!

Our playroom off the kitchen.  Rug and toy organizer from Ikea for the win.

Still trying to figure out what to put on that wall

Insert another random photo of the chair we got for Christmas that replaced the jumperoo

James room.  It was already painted the perfect color and the yellow valances were left by the owners.

Hall bath for the boys

Miles room.  Ah I need to finish sewing the binding on the quilt I made him!!!

Seriously though, Miles room makes me so happy.  I love that he is not in a converted attic room with crappy carpet.  His room is so cozy and safe feeling. And it's just down the hall, not up a flight of stairs!

I guess you can tell we love these blackout shades.  Amazing for kids bedrooms.  We bought them for both the kids rooms.

Master bedroom.  Once again already painted- sweet!

Tall ceilings

Here's another 'after' picture showing the pretty artwork I got as a present for Christmas

Our walkout basement that has turned into Richard's man cave.

Bathroom #4 straight ahead!
