In October, the boys and I met Mandy at Homestead Farm for some apple picking! It was a beautiful day, and therefore quite busy! Miles was a great helper and James was well behaved in the carrier. I was quite exhausted by the end, but we came home with a ton of yummy apples. I wasn't up for making large batches of applesauce this year, so I just make a one batch and a homemade apple pie. It is so nice to live near Mandy again!

Great pics, Sarah! You guys seem to always have such great fruit picking outings. I think the little school I worked for in 2009/2010 had a field trip to that place. I totally remember the goat walkway- so much fun.
I absolutely love how you go fruit picking and then make something yummy afterwards. I'm always excited to see what you make.
