This year we had Thanksgiving at my parents house. We started the day by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on TV. Miles loved it. In the afternoon, Aunt Carolyn came over with my favorite dip, two dollar salad and the Pumpkin Chiffon pie. She met James for the first time! Dinner took a little longer than normal. Of course it didn't help that someone accidentally turned off the oven at some point, while the side dishes were cooking. No worries, though, everything turned out delicious! After dinner we lit a fire in the fireplace, watched the Muppet and Lady Gaga special, and looked at Black Friday ads in the newspaper. It was a simple Thanksgiving with just my parents, our family, Aunt Carolyn, and Danny. Perfect.
