Handling two

After Emmy and Richard left we had one week with just the four of us, before going home to Maryland for Thanksgiving.  During the week, Richard was gone most of the day at school, so I was with both boys all by myself.  On Monday, we decorated the house for Christmas.  Miles loved it so much he wanted to decorate the tree again as soon as we were done.  On Tuesday we made Christmas cookies and went to Target.  I was especially proud of going to Target, because it is 40 minutes away and I brought the Moby Wrap so I could carry James (I needed room in the cart for the items).  On Wednesday I put James down for a nap in the morning and brought the monitor outside so Miles could play in the court.  Thursday was his birthday and Friday Richard was home while we packed for our trip.

I was so proud that I was able to handle everything and still have fun activities for Miles.  The only problem is I need to figure out how to do everything and work from home starting in January!  That will be a little tougher, but I'm sure I will figure that out too :)

I  brought James in the bouncer into the bathroom so I could shower.  Afterwards, Miles wanted me to take a picture of them together.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Four stockings!

Miles loves this snow globe, because it is like Charlie's in Santa Claus

Rolling the cookie dough in the sugar

Unwrapping the Hershey kisses.  Miles had amazing self control compared to last year!

Yummy!

Super woman! You are so great to let Miles help with everything, I get anxiety about letting Logan help! Maybe next year when he is Miles' age :)
