Halloween was a crazy day, since that was the day we brought James home from the hospital. It was busy with coming home, giving Miles attention, and quickly eating dinner as the trick-or-treaters started to arrive at 5:30pm. At first Miles was scared of them, but then he got his dinosaur costume on and was excited to go get candy. I think it helped that he knows all of our close neighbors and is very comfortable in our neighborhood. I was so glad we had my parents there, because my mom went with Richard and Miles, and my dad stayed with me and handed out candy. I was on baby/breastfeeding duty of course :) Handing out the candy is no easy task...we had over 300 trick or treaters between 5:30 and 7pm when we ran out of candy. I guess I need to buy even more next year!!! I love it.
Miles loved his dinosaur costume
James snuggled with me while my dad handed out candy

Miles enjoying his spoils. I probably let him eat way too many pieces of candy, but that's what it is all about!
Brothers
James is a little tired on his first day home
Excited to go trick-or-treating
Trick-or-treating...he always picked only one piece and would roar like a dinosaur
I think it is so cute that many times he would say trick-or-treat before they opened the door
