Maryland Visit- Ocean City (Part 1)

In June we went to my parents new oceanfront beach condo in Ocean City for a week, and then went to the Burton's in Maryland for a week (blog post on that to follow).  It was the most relaxing beach week.  Richard is not usually a beach guy, but even he loved it and was not ready to leave.  I think it was partly because it was just us and my parents and partly because their place is just SO nice!!!  There is something about being oceanfront, where you can hear and smell the ocean at all times, that just makes all the difference!

During the week we went out on the beach, ate at Dumsers Dairyland several times, swam in the pool, went to church, rode the kiddie rides at the Rehobath Boardwalk, and Richard and I even went on a date!  My dad also set up his new awesome TV, amplifier and speakers, which was fun for the boys especially.  We also watched a few movies to test it out :)

For 25+ years my dad has gone down early in the morning to claim our spot on the beach with that turquoise umbrella.  Dads are the best!

One evening Richard took Miles for a walk on the beach.  He ended up coming back in just a diaper, since he got completely soaked playing in the water.  At this point he still has pants on...
