This year was my first time blueberry picking. They were much easier to pick than I expected! The bushes are about waist high and I could pick several berries at once. Of course I compare everything to strawberries, which I still consider the hardest out of all the fruits I have picked! Miles was a great helper, but it was a little difficult trying to get him to not eat all of them. I ended up making Richard's favorite dessert, a blueberry pie. I also made blueberry sauce and we ate the rest fresh.

Reminds me of the cute "Blueberries for Sal" book! Such a New England thing to do.....and boy was that pie good, even days later! Thanks for bringing some Sarah!
