Where have we been?

Well, we've been out of town!  Richard had a week off for spring break, so first we went to Ohio to watch Richard's cousin Hugh perform the lead in Footloose.  Then we went home to Maryland and stayed with Richard's parents and then my parents.

While we were in Ohio, we stayed at Richard's Aunt and Uncle's house.  So many family members came into town to see the musical.  I think there were about 20 of us under one roof.  It was like a mini family reunion!  The first night I went to the musical, and the second night Emmy put Miles down so that Richard and I could go together.

So the first night we were there it was a disaster with Miles sleeping in the room with us.  He wouldn't go back to sleep in his crib once he knew we were there, and we didn't want him crying and waking up the whole house.  So from 12-2:45am he was going back and forth between our bed to the crib and I didn't sleep at all.  Ah!  So the next night we put trash bags on the windows and rigged a divider between us by hanging a comforter from the dresser to a chair.  He couldn't see us and it did the trick.  Slept until 8am the next morning no problem!  Lesson learned- always bring black trash bags and something to divide the room :)

I was really horrible at taking pictures in Ohio (not one!), but here are a few I stole off Facebook of Hugh in the musical.  He was awesome!!
