For the first part of the week we stayed at the Burtons. It was even more relaxing that usual. I don't know why. Although maybe part of it had to do with the 'magic room.' There is a room in the basement where we put Miles for sleeping, and it is seriously magic. We think it is because it is so dark and quiet. I had to go in and wake him up at 9:45am TWICE. That's right- two separate mornings he seriously slept from 7:15pm to 9:45am. Then the rest of the days he would sleep until 9:00am. Usually he sleeps until 7:30am, so I really felt like I was sleeping in late. I started joking that we were going to move in with them.
Miles loved climbing the steps. He got very good at going down them too.
Miles loved having new toys to play with.
Dancing with Grandma
Miles had a ball with the balls. Here he is trying to carry two at a time.
Here he is doing his gesture/sign that means 'where is it?'
Emmy took Miles to Harris Teeter with her. They had mini shopping carts that Miles got to push around. I think he felt very purposeful! I loved these pictures she took on her phone.

Yay! You're back! I was actually thinking man I haven't seen a post from Sarah in a while:-) Miles is getting so big and I can't believe he slept in until 9-9:45a. That sounds like heaven!
PS I love the barn toy he is playing with. I had one growing up...memories. hehe. Doesn't it moo when you open the door?
He's getting so big! I adore that picture of Miles with Emmy, absolutely priceless.
