15 month check-up

Miles' 15 month check-up was a little late, because we were out of town, but he finally had it this past Thursday.  He actually had fun waiting for the doctor to come (see the video below).  Of course measuring his head and looking in his ears was just the worst thing to ever happen to him.  Haha, sweet boy.  And he got three shots, which was no fun, but he stopped crying immediately when it was over and only had a little fever today.

But here are the stats:  

• Weight: 24.69 lbs (49%)
• Height: 33.82 inches (97%)
• Head Circumference: 18.7 inches (57%)

Yup, he jumped up in weight and height.  I am looking at clothes for him for this summer and most 18-24 months clothes are only up to 33 inches for height.  So he is already too big for them, and I am going to get him 2T.  

Anyways, Miles has really grown up the last few weeks.  He signs a lot of words, and it is super helpful to be able to communicate with him.  His words are milk, food/eat, all done, more, water, banana, cracker, bath, please, ball, potty, hurt, and where is it.  He says ma ma, da da, ball, bye, and maybe others that I don't understand.  He is obsessed with waving and saying bye bye when we leave a room, leave the apartment, leave the store, and hang up the phone.  He always can tell when we are getting ready to leave the apartment and starts saying it the whole time we are getting dressed.  

Right now, Miles loves playing with balls, putting caps on things (i.e. empty milk cartons), closing doors, pretend talking on the phone, and making us laugh.  One thing that really cracks us up is when we say 'no' to him and then he turns around and points at us (because that is what we do sometimes when we say no).  It is hilarious if you can picture it.  Oh and he can be so happy one minute and then suddenly flip out when he can't play with something.  He'll arch his back and throw himself on the ground.  I usually want to start laughing. Drama!
