University of Connecticut

It's official...Richard accepted an offer of admission to the Anthropology PhD program at the University of Connecticut!  Oh, you thought we were going to be done with school?  Haha!  Richard wants to be a law (or anthropology) professor, and so the PhD route should really help us get there.  Right now he is planning on focusing his studies on legal systems in West Africa.

I am actually super excited to still have Richard in school.  I love having him around the house.  Plus with a PhD, his tuition is covered and he gets a stipend.  That is a lot different from law school.   And we are really looking forward to moving to Connecticut- our next adventure.  It is fun to start looking at places to rent...hopefully a house!  We aren't sure exactly when we will be moving this summer, but we will definitely be there by August.

Now we just need to get through the last semester of law school and the bar...almost there!
