Play date with Becca and John

Becca and her husband Matt lived just a few doors up from us when we were all newlyweds in Provo, Utah.  When you move away you always think, 'hey, you never know, we might end up living close to each other again one day.' But you don't REALLY think that will happen.  I mean, there are a lot of places out there to live, so it is really just wishful thinking.  Well, luckily, it does actually happen sometimes!  When we found out that Matt was doing his residency at Yale, it meant that Becca, Matt, and their little boy John would be just a little over an hour away!  I used to think that was kind of far, but after realizing that I have to drive 30 minutes to an hour to get to most places, it doesn't seem like much of a drive!  I am definitely willing to make the trek to her place.  

We actually met up in between our houses at this super cool grocery store a few weeks ago (I know a grocery store sounds weird but it was fun).  And then last week Becca and John were wonderful and willing to drive to our place for a play date.  We played inside, ate lunch, and then went swimming in our pool.  It is so fun to see a familiar face!  We had a lot of fun and already have plans for our next few outings.  Gotta get them in before their baby girl arrives!
