18 months (a little belated)

The day before we moved we had Miles' 18 month doctors appointment.  Luckily he didn't have any shots!  His stats were 25.79 lbs (50%) for weight, 34.14 inches (92%) for length, and 19.17 inches (76%) for head circumference.  

Miles still signs a ton, but he has also started saying words.  The ones I recognize are mama, dada, ball, bubble, car, wow, yeah, ow, water, more, all done, hi, and bye.  He still loves saying bye to everything and everyone.  Usually multiple, multiple times, until you have completely left the room.  Lately he loves putting on his shoes by himself.  He will lay them out carefully on the ground in front of him and then hold onto something (like the coffee table) while he puts each foot slowly in the shoe.  I am constantly amazed at what he understands and the new things he can do.

Miles loves going outside and will bring me his shoes several times a day.  He is also very interested in all of the ceiling fans in our new house.  He also still loves pretend talking on the phone.  Anything can be a pretend phone, and his conversations are apparently very funny and interesting because he usually pretend laughs and says oooooh a lot.  He is also still the cuddliest boy in the world!
