Miles and I had the most fun going to the pumpkin patch this October just the two of us. He was so excited about it. He kept picking out pumpkins, but then didn't want them because they were a little wet. Finally he was adamant on about the pumpkin he wanted, and of course it weighed over 20 lbs! At that point I was re-thinking our decision to have Richard stay home with James.
After Miles got home he wanted to decorate it right away, but it we didn't want it to rot before Halloween, so he had to wait a little bit. He really loved his pumpkin, and would give it random hugs, not only on the hay ride but after we put it on our front steps. We would get home from somewhere and he wanted me to wait so he could go give his pumpkin a hug. Sweet boy.
