Happy Halloween 2015

Two days before Halloween, Miles changed his mind about his Halloween costume.  We had a free fireman one from our neighbors that he had seemed happy about, but then he decided he DEFINITELY wanted to be Woody from Toy Story or a cowboy.  We already had a Woody hat, so I borrowed a bandanna, and then my mom helped me make the vest for Woody.   Luckily James was easy and just used Miles bat costume from when he was little.

Since our neighborhood isn't the best for trick or treating, we went over to my parents neighborhood.  It was fun taking my two kids trick or treating in the same neighborhood I grew up trick or treating!  We ate sloppy joes at my parents and then headed out at 6pm I think.  It was still light out and we were the first ones out, but with James being little we wanted an early start.  The Burtons also met us to do a few houses with us.  We borrowed a wagon, which ended up being perfect for James.  And as Miles got more tired, he loved being in there with James.

The boys were super cute, but Miles did seem to get tired pretty quickly.  Turns out they both had fevers when we got home, and they were sick for a few days.  I'm glad they still had a fun Halloween.

You are one great mama to make that costume right before Halloween! That is one thing I dislike about Halloween with young kids- they want to change their minds a zillion times about costumes! The boys looked so cute.
