For the second half of the week we stayed with the Burtons. On Black Friday we went to the park to play. It was actually beautiful weather outside! We ate turkey sandwiches for lunch and then a repeat of Thanksgiving dinner. For dessert we made s'mores on the deck. Miles and Hugh did this cute thing over and over where Hugh would say, "Miles, how old are you?" Miles would say "TWO!" and then Hugh would fall to the floor to make Miles laugh. It was so sweet. It is the best to watch Miles actually start to learn how to play with other kids. And it is the sweetest with his little cousins. On Saturday, Richard, Richard Sr and Miles went on a daddy date to get dinner at Famous Dave's (Emmy and I went to Vasillis for some gyros-yum). On Sunday we had church and then celebrated Richard's birthday (which was actually the next day, but we would be leaving). Blog post on that next!
Hanging at the park
Richard was the best Daddy, pushing Miles around on the scooter and playing with the kids the whole time
Anna's little guy Charlie. Oh my gosh don't you love this kid? So cute!
In heaven watching their family...
This was so sweet. As you may have noticed from previous blog posts, Miles is a cuddly guy. And he loves holding hands. He was in heaven holding Lizzie's hands. He is never the first to let go when holding kids hands...
S'mores at night
Every time Richard played piano, Miles ran to Emmy to get her to dance with him. In this picture he was limp in her arms.
Ready for their daddy date!
More dancing
Miles was in heaven with all of these cars
Notice the hip pack? How does he make everything cute?
