Welcome to our new home!

We have been in our new townhouse for a month, and I finally have pictures to show everyone!  I still have a lot of decorating to do, but it is now presentable.  The one thing we can't get over is the size.  It feels huge!  I am learning how to live in a house with 4 levels.  It is an adjustment, but what a nice adjustment!

Anyways, enough of my blabbering.  You just want to see the pics...and boy there are a lot of them....

Does anyone know how to get the awful star hooks that are glued (seriously glued) on the fireplace off?

Miles loves climbing on the rocks.

Our super organized basement (I vacuumed every square inch)

It looks wonderful! I bet it is so nice to be able to spread out your things, have storage room, and all that. I admit, I am jealous :)

I LOVE IT! Where did you find something so spacious???

The glued star hooks... If it's glue, and not cement, I would recommend a heat gun. You could try a hair dryer, clothing steamer or boiling hot water since it's on tile, but heat guns are like $10 from a hardware store. (unless you craft and have an embossing gun... I don't know if they get just as hot, but yeah) Heat guns are how they remove linoleum from the floor. Definitely use the gun with a putty knife to scrape off excess, and mineral spirits and a garment steamer/boiling water would probably be best to get the rest of it off. Don't burn yourself!!!
