My family took us skiing after Christmas to Whitetail, which is only an hour and a half away. They rented a townhouse right there at the resort, which made it super convenient. The townhouse was sooo nice. It felt like we were at the beach, where everyone is in the same house and able to relax. We arrived Monday afternoon, skied Monday night, Tuesday day, and Wednesday morning. Not many slopes were open, since the weather had been so warm in December, but I didn't mind (I'm a little bit of a wimp). It was fun to go out for several hours at a time and have fun while my mom watched Miles. Richard actually was pretty sick the whole time, so he stayed inside resting. Poor guy. My mom made yummy meals as always (especially the lasagna haha) and we played lots of Settlers of Catan- awesome game! Oh and they had a walk-in closet in my parent's room so Miles had his own little space...sweet!

The best part of skiing is LUNCH (and hot chocolate of course)
Miles loved the townhouse (and the toys my parents saved from when we were little)
