Miles was definitely outgrowing his infant car seat. It was time for an upgrade, so we got him a convertible car seat that can be rear or front facing. The new recommendation is to keep kids rear facing until 2, or as long as possible. Luckily Miles doesn't seem to mind. We love it! He just looks so cozy and safe!

Loving it! I'm excited for Emma to try hers out...though we need to buy it first...ugh another big expense right? hehe
