12 Months

Miles had his 12 month check up 2 days ago.  4 shots- no fun!  And I was a bad mommy and forgot his pacifier- poor boy.  But he survived and is doing fine.  His stats: 21.2 lbs (24th percentile), 30.6 inches (74th percentile), and 18.5 inches (67th percentile).

Fun facts about Miles:

1. He realized that not everything is just for eating!  He can put the rings on the ring stacker, the circle through the shape sorter, and the stacking cups inside each other.
2. He will hold the play telephone up to his ear and then hand it to me so I will pretend talk into it.
3. Only drinking milk now- no formula!  Yahoo for the budget :)
4. Loves to pull out empty plastic bottles from the recycling and carry them around the apartment
5. walks around talking in his low darth vader voice a lot
6. Just discovered the electrical sockets.  Oh goodness.
7. Has started to mimic clapping by slapping his wrist, but still doesn't quite get it.
8. Walking all the time, rarely crawls
9. Comes over to give me hugs all the time while we're playing on the floor with him.  He is still such a snuggler.
10. Loves bouncing to music and trying to get in the refrigerator every time we open it.
11. Recognizes the sound of us dialing a number on our house phone and will run into the room to try to see if he can play with it.
12. When he gets sad he will lay his head on the floor or against the wall.  Too cute haha.
13. Totally scared of the vacuum. Oh and apparently big dogs.
14. Knows the correct way to get off of the couch and bed without falling.
15. He loves all of his new toys, but his favorite toy is still.....(drum roll please)....his drumsticks (bada ching!)
