Towards the end of June, Elena and I took Miles and Julia strawberry picking at Buell's Orchard on a beautiful Friday morning! I was very impressed with Elena picking strawberries while pregnant. Not a comfortable task! Miles loved helping, but as usual, he ate more than he put in the basket. Since we were leaving for the beach the next day, we just brought the strawberries with us and made a French Strawberry Pie when we got to Ocean City. No jam this year!
