Before leaving Connecticut I really wanted to make it to a Connecticut beach! Luckily our friends Jonathan and Elena invited us to come with them one day in June. They are experts with the CT beaches. The weather was still a little cool, so we kept our comfy clothes on over our swimsuits for most of the time. But the beach was very nice and if were staying I would definitely go back. It was only a little over an hour away and very convenient. They even have a nice big place to shower off and go to the bathroom and change clothes. Afterwards we went to a seafood restaurant where I got my first New England lobster roll and Miles ate ice cream and rode the carousel. The boys were so good the whole time.

One time on the carousel was enough for Miles. This kid is such a daredevil, so I don't know why carousels still make him so nervous.
