Do you want to see the cutest thing ever? Well our church had their ward talent show at the end of August and Richard signed up to play piano. He actually played trumpet and piano at the same time, since it was such a hit in our last ward. Plus, this time I actually remembered to record it!!! But I think the true highlight for both of us was Miles contribution. Miles played Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star on the drums, while Richard played it on the trumpet.
I was nervous that Miles would get stage fright and not want to do it. But we set up his drumset on the stage and I sat right next to him. Richard asked him to count off and he said 1, 2, 3 and then started playing! He played the whole thing really well, keeping good time, and then ended right on cue. At the end everyone erupted into the largest applause.....and then Miles burst into tears! I think he was scared. Of course I had already turned off the camera at that point, which is a bummer because it was super cute. No fear though, I don't think he was traumatized since about 10 minutes later he already wanted to go back and do it again.

I can't believe Miles' rhythm! Though I shouldn't be surprised with Richard as his father. So awesome. Glad you videoed it.
Both of your boys are SO talented!! Miles is so amazing on the drums!
That is awesome! I remember Richard playing at our AA ward talent show. Miles did so great, and it's really fun for you to have it on video.
