Oh and PS, Miles is no longer in the toddler bed. We tried it for a month and decided he just wasn't ready for it. He has stairs in his room and would climb down the stairs, turn on the lights in his room and try to sleep on the floor but wake up an hour later. He slept half as long for his naps and woke up 2 hours earlier in the morning. Finally when we were on vacation and he slept in the pack and play he gradually went back to sleeping well. We decided to keep using the pack and play at home now (better than the crib so he doesn't hurt himself trying to get out) until he is totally ready for a big boy bed. So much happier! I hadn't wanted to move him yet anyways, I just didn't want him to hurt himself.

So much more fun when you can share with Mama
After painting the living room, bedroom, and the office/nursery (twice) in our last apartment completely by himself, Richard is an expert at painting. It was so nice to have my parents help though! It went so quickly!

The shade we picked is Gray Cloud by Benjamin Moore, which is a light bluish gray
The new curtains were from West Elm
The new duvet cover was a present for Christmas from the Burtons from Pottery Barn. I got the furry blanket at the bottom of the bed from Target for $20.
I love the new curtain rods my mom bought us while they were here
Going on a date night! I'm still obsessed with my new purse
Making sour cream chocolate chip donuts...amazing!
Miles always wants to be a helper
Mom helped me so much in preparing for New Beginnings! She made the favors, the fruit tray, etc.
The Relief Society room all decorated for New Beginnings
Afton preparing the refreshments table
Can you believe these cupcakes?
Our wonderful young women!

During one of the mornings when my parents watched Miles
Miles' new toddler bed. He loved his new cars pillow.
Finally asleep
Working all day making the blackout curtains for Miles room
We were so proud of ourselves for how we made this curtain. The design was a little tricky since it had to go around the air conditioner!
The skylight! The anchors are going to go with the quilt I plan on making him for his big boy bed. It will be pirate themed with fabrics from Sara Jane Studios' out to sea collection.
