Let's start by going back to February, when the huge Blizzard of 2013 hit us! We knew this storm was coming and made sure to be super prepared in case we lost power. That was my greatest fear, that we would lose power. Luckily we never did! Anyways, on Friday, the snow started coming down. Everything closed down, Richard's classes were cancelled, and nobody was supposed to be on the roads after about 12pm. It was very exciting! It snowed all day and through the night, and we woke up to a huge amount of snow! It continued coming and then stopped mid-day. It was so beautiful. The total was at least 20 inches where we live...crazy!
One nice thing about where we live is snow removal is part of the deal. We have a lot of elderly neighbors and the home owner's association takes care of the snow removal, etc. That saved us (ahem Richard) several hours of shoveling. After we were freed, we made our way outside. It was so nice to get out after being inside all day Friday and most of Saturday. It was fun to walk around our winter wonderland, but a little to high for Miles to play in it easily.
The snow stayed on the ground for weeks, and was still too high for Miles to walk in the grass for a long time. It was such a fun adventure and I loved it.

Finally venturing outside
So beautiful
Don't often get a pic of all three of us

Aw
Ron! Ron and Diane are our next door neighbors and we love them!
