We spent Christmas Eve with the Burtons this year. Their tradition is to eat hamburgers by the fire, read the Christmas story in the scriptures and a wonderful family story about a Christmas tree, and then eat cookies and open our Christmas pajamas (super cute this year FYI). The house looked so beautiful, that I took mostly pictures of the house! It was so much fun (especially for Miles) to have the Pearces there to play. We had to head to my parents' house on the earlier side (a little after 8), because of Miles' bedtime, but it was yummy and fun!
I love seeing the pretty garland through the windows that Emmy hangs over the door
Just beautiful at night
This picture of Elsa sitting in front of the tree has to be one of my favorite pictures ever.
Where we eat dinner. Peter, Richard and I actually ate at the kids table in the kitchen this year.
Arthur in his reindeer hat
Peter playing with Hugh
Miles watching John and Charlie play with the train.
Andrew was great about chasing the kids around the house and playing with them. Here's a pic of John playing with Miles. All the Pearce kids are so sweet to Miles.
When we got home to my parents' house, the family room looked so pretty. We watched "It's a wonderful life,' but I fell asleep pretty early on.
