So the other day a complete stranger was surprised I was 37 weeks along and asked how much weight I had gained. I said, "Oh the normal amount." And she's like, "Well, if you don't mind how much have you gained?" And while I thought that was rude and very persistent of her, I still told her that I had gained about 25 lbs. Then we find out why she asked in the first place...she responds that she only gained 18 lbs in her pregnancy. Ahah!
What I should have said instead was, "Sure, as long as you don't mind telling me your weight."
Oh well...2 weeks late I think of the perfect response :) I don't think I would have the guts to say that anyways.

It blows my mind that people think because you are pregnant they can ask questions really only a doctor should be asking! You also should have given her a gold star sticker for only gaining 18 lbs, that would have made her feel dumb. ;)
And by the way, I gained 50 (yes, fifty) pounds when I was pregnant with Johnny, haha! But really who cares, as long as we lose it after the baby comes, right? ;)
So excited to see pictures and the news of your sweet baby boy coming... in the 7 DAYS!!
I gained 40 pounds when I had Natalie! ha, what a snotty girl! At least (if there ever were a next time for that situation) you'll be prepared to stop that person in their tracks. Who asks that anyway?! Its not about how much weight you gain, it's about having a baby! :)
Oh man can you believe what people think it is okay to say?! Listen, if you happen to go past your due date and you get the "You're STILL here?" comment...just know there are many that have been there before...It's a rite of passage or something.
