Gibney Thanksgiving 2014

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house this year (Burton Thanksgiving in another post).  It was fun to be able to contribute to the meals for once, since I had my own kitchen this year.  We put on the parade in the morning, of course, while I made carrot souffle and a chocolate pie.  Then we headed over to my parents, put James down for a nap, finished cooking, and then ate our yummy dinner.  We headed home to put the kids to bed and then I came back for pie and to review the ads in the newspaper.  I didn't even go Black Friday shopping, but it's always fun to look.  It was wonderful to have everyone together, including Danny, Joseph, Emily, and Aunt Carolyn.  And my mom's cooking never disappoints. Yum!

Miles and Danny went on a bike ride before dinner.  Miles was in heaven!

My mom's pumpkin pie.  I also made a chocolate pie.

Greg stopped by after dinner, dressed up of course.
