We will never paint a room without testing samples first.
So we decided to paint the nursery/office green, and we found a great color green on a paint chip. But we didn't test it! We painted the entire room, and even moved the furniture back in place. But when we woke up in the morning with all of the light streaming in this is what we saw....
And it looks A LOT more lime green in person. So I freaked out a little. We tried to convince ourselves that it wasn't THAT bad, and that it would grow on us. It didn't.
So Richard graciously offered to repaint the entire room. It is one of the many reasons I love him. This time we learned our lesson and tested samples first.
Anyways, here is the room with the new paint color. It looks beautiful in person. So warm and inviting. A lot better, right? We love it!

Oh my goodness! You weren't kidding when you said it was lime green...the new color is wonderful!I bet you are enjoying it in your office Sarah! You are good sports for doing a re-do! momma
This looks great! I bet you're so happy now. This is an office I'd love to work in!
I've made that mistake too. The new color is gorgeous. :)
That's hilarious. Sounds like a whole lotta work--worth it though! Love the new color.
LOL! I love the post title! The after color is perfect. Neutral undertones make for a seamless transition from nursery to office... to really anything! If I were a hick I would say, "Ya done good." But I'm not.
