Working as a banker and now as an assistant to my dad who is a financial planner has made me fascinated with personal finance. One thing Richard and I like to do is listen to Dave Ramsey. He became a millionaire in the real estate business, went bankrupt, started over, became a millionaire again, although the second time around he did things very differently. He has a talk radio show, a new TV show on the Fox Business Network, and several books. He gives advice to callers who have financial questions and huge financial messes that they don't know how to escape. Dave Ramsey has some unorthodox ideas but I usually agree with him. Basically, he says if you live like no one else now, then later you can really live like no one else! So why am I posting this? I thought maybe someone would find it interesting.
"This is the Dave Ramsey Show, where debt is dumb, cash is king, and the paid off home mortgage has taken the place of the BMW as the status symbol of choice..."

Our ward did a class for a few months, all about the Dave Ramsey ideas. We couldn't go because it was at the same time as our Lamaze class, but now that you mention him, I am interested again!(I am so glad you posted again!)

I know, I wish you were still here! Now that I am not pregnant anymore, I want to dance again! I need one night out a week, for my sanity. I am thinking about figure skating...
