Moving to Maryland

On Wednesday, June 18, Richard and I left Provo, Utah for our trip across country! Even though we were really excited for the move, it was still a little sad to say goodbye to our cute apartment in Provo.

I couldn't believe how much fun we had on our trip! We made sure to bring lots of snacks, books on tape, and Dave Ramsey podcasts. But let me just say- please avoid at all costs driving on the PA turnpike with a trailer. SCARY!

So where are we living in Maryland? Well, we are very lucky that Richard's parents are letting us live in their basement. We still don't know how long we'll be here, but the basement is so nice, and we are saving a lot of money.

And what are we doing now? Well, Richard is finishing two BYU classes online (and then he'll officially be finished with his Economics degree), studying for the LSAT, and applying for law school. After the LSAT he will start working until law school next fall. I am working for my dad! He is a financial planner for Lincoln Financial and I am his new assistant! I have never been so happy. I definitely have the best boss, and I love going to work everyday.

Cute blog, Sarah! I have some fun news for you. Natalie and I are coming out to Maryland in November for a whole month! My Richard has some army training that he has to do so I'm going to go stay with my family for a bit to ease the loneliness. We'll have to set up some fun play dates!
