I love decorating for Christmas as early as possible. It always makes the house feel magical. This was our first year in this house, so I had to find new spots for all of the decorations. We also bought some additional white lights to string outside. I love pulling up to the house at night when the lights are on.
Almost forgot to hang the advent calendar since it was stored under my bed!
I'm always tempted to take picture of the tree before I head upstairs at night. Even if one strand did burn out and I couldn't fix it no matter what I tried....I guess that is understandable for a 5 year old pre-lit tree
