Anybody remember beanie babies? Let me tell you a little story. I got my first few beanie babies for Christmas one year, and after that they started becoming pretty popular. They would release new beanie babies a couple times a year, but the stores would sell out so quickly. I remember over the summer calling a list of stores every morning to see if they had gotten a beanie babies shipment. If they said they had gotten some, we would drop everything (even if my mom was giving my brother a haircut), and drive to the store! It was actually really fun and exciting.
So it turns out I have 80 beanie babies, not including my teeny beanie babies from McDonalds (remember those too?). Mine aren't worth that much since I played with mine and they aren't in mint condition. Some of my favorites are the bears Peace, Erin, and Princess. I remember my mom surprising me with Peace sitting on my bed. We got Princess from Ireland through some connections with friends. Then I won another Princess bear at a school raffle, so I went to a store and traded it for an Erin bear.

Those are some awesome pictures of your collection. We really did have fun gathering them all. It sounds crazy now, but we bought Hoot from someone we found in the Gazette.
