Yay for parents!

In September my parents came to visit us.  Yay!  There is nothing we love more than visitors, especially parents who spoil you!  And having visitors in the fall is the best!  My parents were only here for a few days, but we always manage to fit in a lot.    They arrived Sunday night and had time to play with the new blocks they brought for Miles before it was bedtime.  On Monday we went apple picking at a local orchard and made an apple pie.  On Tuesday my mom and I went shopping and then made applesauce.  On Wednesday they made a yummy breakfast and then left after Miles went down for his nap after lunch.  Then they drove up to Maine for a few days to visit with our close family friends Al and Jan.  On their way back they stayed with us for one more night on Saturday night.  Once again it was so nice to have them here.  It's so fun to see Miles become more and more attached to them.  He really missed them when they left.

Tuesday night we worked on applesauce.  Boy, I always put them to work when they are here!  Anyone notice the time on the wall?  Yeah, we were still cutting up the apples at that point and had a ways to go before being done for the night.
