5 Months Already?

Miles turned 5 months old yesterday- crazy!  I did some measurements at home and I think he is about 14.9 lbs and 27.5 inches long.

Recent happenings:
  • Laughs, smiles, talks and squeals all the time
  • Gets very excited on the changing table
  • Rolls over both ways a lot (more often back to front)
  • Can sit up unassisted for a few seconds if balanced perfectly
  • Eats anything he can get his hands on...especially his feet
  • Napping beautifully recently (two 2+ hour naps and one shorter one)
  • Not lasting as long at night as before...working on that one next!
  • Maybe starting solids soon?

He is adorable! Wanna hear something funny? Jackson is 7 weeks old. I did some home measurements yesterday, and he is 13.6 lbs. I'll give it 2 weeks before he weighs more than Miles!

Have to agree with Becky--I am in love with this handsome boy! As a parent, I'm typically a little biased towards my own children and don't necessarily find myself saying "WOW! That person's kid is ADORABLE!" (That sounds bad--I think other people have cute kids, I just usually think mine are cuter because I'm their mom!) But Miles...he really is just that cute! I'm always looking through your pictures and just thinking, My goodness, what a beautiful little boy! Can't believe he's already five months old. You're almost halfway to a YEAR, and believe me, the second half of the year goes by even more quickly! Before you know it, they're walking and talking (and telling you what to do! haha). Parenting is just one great big joyful blur.
