Friday morning we went to Wasem Fruit Farm to buy apple cider, apples, and homemade donuts. Yum! We relaxed at the apartment, Danny went to one of Richard's classes, my Mom and I went shopping, we made dinner, and then we went for a nice walk outside. The weather was gorgeous most of the weekend and we were able to open the windows in our apartment.
Saturday we had some friends over for lunch to meet my family, then Mom and I went shopping again while Dad met up with an old friend. We ate a delicious dinner at Grizzly Peak Brewery with ice cream afterwards at Washtenaw Dairy. And of course we had to dye Easter eggs. I had forgotten how much fun that is!
We also played several games of pinochle over the weekend...definitely the best card game ever invented. Dad even got a double pinochle to win the first game! Here's a picture of the rare double pinochle...

Sunday my family went to Easter mass at a local Catholic church while Richard and I watched the morning session of Conference.

We made a delicious Easter dinner of pork tenderloin, twice baked potato casserole, green beans, homemade rolls, and deviled eggs. I love cooking with my Mom...she does a lot (ok probably most) of the work and it is so nice to have all of the help!

After explaining to Richard that double pinochle is very rare, Danny preceded to get two double pinochles. Not fair!

Family are the best house guests. They help out so much and make it so easy. We had such a nice weekend together. It went too quickly!
