Jessica's Baby Shower

At the end of January I threw a baby shower for my friend Jessica. Jessica's husband Pete goes to law school with Richard, and we also go to the same church. She was my first friend in Ann Arbor! They are expecting a baby boy in February.

Since it was a breakfast shower we had homemade cinnamon rolls, bran muffins (thanks Julie!), sausage and egg casserole (thanks Christi!), fruit salad (thanks Claire!), orange juice, and water. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the food (I was a little preoccupied), but it was delicious! For games, we played a celebrity baby name matching game and a baby food guessing game. The favors were Lindt truffles wrapped in blue fabric with ribbon (darn- no picture of those either!). It was really fun to celebrate with Jessica and have an excuse to pull out the china and great serving pieces that Richard and I got as wedding gifts.

Claire was such a huge help! She helped make the favors, made a delicious fruit salad, and came early to help set-up.
